Artseption
"Artseption" was our first year Major Project which involved a group of individuals creating pieces of artwork together and then using the pieces as inspiration to create music. This is the piece of artwork I had contributed to the project, I wanted to incorporate my Maori ancestry into the project so I decided to create a Ta moko piece. The art is my interpretation of Aotearoa being held down by Covid. For more information on this, check out the link above

The Percussion Box
This was a Project I undertook earlier this year, I had constructed my own instrument with the use of rotating Servo Motors that interacted with percussive instruments this idea is still under development, but here is the product in its current state
These are photo's of the Percussion box without the housing unit, the photo on the left shows all the wiring and hardware used to make the instrument operate, the photo on the right are the chosen instruments to interact with.

Natasha Lynch Album
This year I was very fortunate to have worked alongside fellow student and musician Natasha Lynch, she graciously allowed me to feature on her track "Roses" where I provided slight backing vocals to add a somewhat "creepy and unsettling" atmosphere which is what was asked of me to do. Hadow Reid's R&B E.P
I am currently working on my very own E.P for my third year Major Project, The E.P is a tribute to the R&B genre as it will be a showcase of songs that were composed, produced, mixed and mastered in the style of different era's of the popular genre.
